In this interview Ruth Mathieson talks about her father Vic Stevens. Vic was the 13th of 14 children and was born in 1905. He attended Wild Bush, Riverton and Oraki Schools. In this interview Isobel tells of her life growing up and living in the Mossburn area on a farm. She recalls getting electricity, the coal range and oil lamps. She learnt to play the piano and played the organ every second Sunday at Church. Isobel talks of meeting and marrying her husband and their 6 children and her interest in gardening and family recreational times.
